Crossover Building Application
Before commencing the construction of a crossover, an application needs to be submitted to the local shire for approval. The application should be reviewed and approved by the shire before any construction work on the crossover begins. For your convenience, we have already provided a copy of the diagram and specifications for the crossover on our website.
Please complete the Application to Undertake Works on a Road and return to Council with all required additional information either by email to mailbox@lvrc.qld.gov.au, dropping off to a Council Office or by post.
Tree Removal Considerations
Removal of Trees and Vegetation may be subject to a permit, please contact Council and speak with the Planning Department to ascertain if a permit is required. Contact Council on 1300 005 872.
* Clear Obstruction: If a tree obstructs the planned location of your dwelling, driveway, or shed, it is advisable to exercise common sense, and in such cases, the tree may be removed.
* Boundary Trees: If you have any uncertainties regarding the removal of a tree located within the boundary of your property, we recommend reaching out to the Planning Department at the local shire for guidance and approval.
